The All-time Greatest Players 2015 Volume 1 & Volume 2
The All-time Greatest Players 2015 Volume 1 and Volume 2 databases gives you a great way to play games using more than 4500 of the best players in baseball history. Released in April 2015, the AGP2015 can be purchased either as a separate Volume 1 or Volume 2 database or both volumes bundled together for additional savings. For previous owners of the AGP2006 version, you can upgrade at a 25% discount by contacting dmb_info@imaginesports.com
All of the players have been selected and rated based on their best series of peak seasons, with each season evaluated relative to the norms for that era and adjusted for park effects. The players are organized into 48 teams based on the real-life franchises they were most closely affiliated with during their peak periods.
Everything is in place to allow you to start playing games the moment you install the set, but remember that there's almost no limit to the ways you can use these players and teams. You can also run a draft, restructure the league, generate a new schedule, change the manager profiles, and move players and teams to/from other Diamond Mind seasons.

What's New!
Diamond Mind Baseball Version 11 and the 2014 Season Database- Now Available!
The 2014 baseball season may go down in history as the “year of the pitcher.” Corey Kluber of the Indians and Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers baffled opposing batters to win the Cy Young Award in their respective leagues. The powerful bullpens of the Royals and the Giants propelled them to a dramatic Game Seven World Series showdown. Meanwhile, young Angels slugger Mike Trout captured his first MVP in the American League, while Kershaw breezed to the National League award. Altogether, the 2014 MLB season offered the baseball fan outstanding performances on the mound and at the plate, the debut of rookies like Jason deGrom and Jose Abreu, and, of course, tight pennant races. DMB is proud to present this historic season in our new version 11 or version 10 format.

DPS1969 Available Now!
1969: Amazin' to Miraculous
by Steve Ehresman
From Vietnam, to Woodstock, to the Moon, 1969 was a year of historic events. Major League Baseball produced its own historical drama when Casey Stengel's Amazin' Mets transformed into Gil Hodges' Miracle Mets and rocked the baseball world by capturing the World Series. In baseball's first season of divisional play, the New York Mets, behind the sensational pitching of Cy Young winner Tom Seaver, brushed past the Chicago Cubs of Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Billy Williams and Ferguson Jenkins; eliminated the Atlanta Braves of Orlando Cepeda, Hank Aaron, and Phil Niekro; and upset the American League Champion Baltimore Orioles of Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, and Jim Palmer.
In addition to the World Series surprise by the Mets, 1969 featured the home run slugging of MVPs Willie McCovey and Harmon Killebrew, the batting artistry of Pete Rose and Rod Carew, the mound mastery of Denny McClain and Mike Cuellar, and the base running larceny of Lou Brock and Tommy Harper.
While the stars compiled sterling statistics, Major League Baseball debuted four expansion teams: the Montreal Expos and the San Diego Padres in the National League and the Kansas City Royals and the Seattle Pilots in the American League.
The 1969 Deluxe Past Season database contains everything you need to play games using teams and players from the 1969 season -- a full set of ratings and statistics for every player who appeared in the big leagues that year, plus team rosters, manager profiles, ballpark ratings and league schedules. Statistics include official batting, pitching and fielding totals with left/right splits for all batters and pitchers.
Also included is a complete set of real-life player transactions -- trades, disabled list moves, promotions, demotions, suspensions, and more -- plus the actual starting lineups for every regular season game played.
If you are a registered owner of the 1969 Classic Past Season, you are eligible for upgrade pricing for this item. Send an email to dmb_info@imaginesports.com to request your discount promotion code.
Note: This season database is a companion product for the Diamond Mind Baseball version 11 game. To use this database, you must also have Diamond Mind Baseball version 11. The game software provides you with all of the tools you need to play simulated games, make roster moves, produce dozens of statistical reports, generate league schedules, and more.
Migrating the APG2015 Database
Information on Migration of a Database
If you have made no changes to the structure of either database, in other words, you have not added players to or subtracted players from the database, you can use the migrate and stats export function to move roster organization, park assignments, stats and manager profiles from the original set of databases to the updated set of databases. The process will be much easier for you if you break the entire process down into smaller parts. FYI, DB indicates database.
First you need to install the update DB. Use File/Install a season disk... to install the update. One crucial point here. You need to rename the updated database to something completely different than the original DB. By default, the original DB is installed with the name of agp2015_vol1_v11. I would rename the updated DB as apg2015_vol1_v11_update. If you have changed the names, you will need to come up with your own database names.
After completing this process, you should have the original DB install and the updated DB on your system.
Next, you need to export any stats that you wish to move from the original DB to the updated DB. Since each DB has two leagues, you will need to export the stats from each league. Use Transfer/Export statistics to export your stats. Make sure that you are exporting all of the manager profiles as well as the stats. I would name each league stats file as stats1 and stats2. Remember that the stats are stored in the DB folder called Export. Importing the stats will be out final step.
Now you need to Migrate. Click on File/Migrate and use the down arrow to navigate to where the DB are stored. If you have followed my naming convention, in the Past season database, you will want to pick the agp2015_vol1_V11 DB. In the New season database, you will want to pick the agp2015_vol1_V11_updated DB. In the Migration year, enter 2015. Note, the Migration process will not carry over the players beginning year window. It will replace all with the year of 2015. Click OK. Be patient, this may take a few seconds to complete.
