1932 Deluxe Past Season with transactions and lineups available now!

58 home runs by the Athletics Jimmie Foxx. Brooklyn’s Lefty O’Doul hits .358. But it’s Ruth and the Yankees, sweeping the Cubs in a world series that featured the “called shot” home run, that take home the glory.

The 1932 Deluxe Past Season database contains everything you need to play games using teams and players from the 1932 season -- a full set of ratings and statistics for every player who appeared in the big leagues that year, plus team rosters, manager profiles, ballpark ratings and league schedules. Statistics include official batting, pitching and fielding totals with left/right splits for all batters and pitchers.

Also included is a complete set of real-life player transactions -- trades, disabled list moves, promotions, demotions, suspensions, and more -- plus the actual starting lineups for every regular-season game played.

Customers who have previously bought Diamond Mind's 1932 Classic Past Season database are eligible to buy this upgraded edition for the discounted price of $10. Send an email to dmb_info@imaginesports.com to request your discount promotion code.

** Important Note ** This season database is a companion product for the Diamond Mind Baseball game. To use this database, you must also have Diamond Mind Baseball. The game software provides you with all of the tools you need to play simulated games, make roster moves, produce dozens of statistical reports, generate league schedules, and more.

For 2021, we have again partnered with Dan Szymborski to bring you our projections database featuring stats and ratings generated by Dan's highly regarded ZiPS projection system.

The 2021 Projection Season database includes updated rosters that incorporate off-season player moves; the new schedule; projected batting and pitching stats for more than 2500 players, including many top prospects; and manager profiles set up with rotations, lineups, and depth charts that represent our assessment of how the players will be used during the season.

Even if you're not all that interested in playing simulated games, you may find that an investment in the DMB game and the projections database will pay off as you plan for your fantasy baseball season. You can use the game's powerful reporting system to generate dozens of standard or customizable reports using the projected statistics or the statistics from simulated seasons.

2020 Season Database Update (and patch)

On January 18th, 2021, we updated our master copies of both the 60-game and 162-game editions of the 2020 season to correct some ratings and player short names.

Please refer to the Scope of Changes note on the 2020 Season Database Changes web page for the complete details about these changes.

2020 Season Database Changes

To check if your copy of the 2020 Season Database is up to date, have a look in the Notes tab of the Organizer window with your installed copy of the 2020 season as the active database. If the date of the "2020 Updates" note is 1/18/2021 or later then you already have the most up to date version.

In addition, we have released a season patch that will allow you to update your already installed copy of the 2020 season. The patch is not a complete copy of the 2020 season database. It is a program that applies the corrections to an already installed copy of the 2020 season without disturbing the work you may have already done to your team rosters and league structure. Instructions on using the 2020 season patch and the link to download it can be found on the 2020 Season Database Changes web page.

To request a free updated replacement file for download, send an email to dmb_info@imaginesports.com.

We apologize for these errors and for any inconvenience.

Version 12 and the 2020 Season are Here!

Diamond Mind Baseball: Version 12

We are very excited to announce that Diamond Mind Baseball: Version 12 is now available!

Along with many other improvements, this new version includes full support for all of the latest MLB rule changes so that you can continue to enjoy the most accurate strategy-oriented baseball game with seasons from the past, present and into the future.

Visit our Version 12 Enhancements page to see all the changes.

Here's what you need to know:

Upgrade discount. Customers who have bought a previous version of the game are eligible to receive a discount of $5 off the regular price of $29.95 when buying the version 12 game. Enter the shopping code UPGRADE on the checkout page to apply the discount.

Backward compatibility. As with all of our past upgrades, version 12 will automatically convert databases from prior formats (as far back as version 8) to the latest, thereby preserving your investment in Diamond Mind seasons.

Version 11 is not going away. We will continue to support version 11, and we'll produce new season databases in version 11 format until demand for that format drops to a very low level.

2020 Annual Season Database

The 2020 Annual Season Database is packed with information, including everything you need to play games using teams and players from the 2020 season -- a full set of ratings and statistics for every player who appeared in the big leagues this year; full team rosters; manager profiles; updated ballpark ratings; a full set of real-life transactions and game-by-game lineups for season replays; and three schedules, the original 162-game (as-scheduled) schedule and two 60-game (as-scheduled and as-played) schedules reflecting the pandemic shortened season. Statistics include official batting, pitching and fielding totals with left/right splits for all batters and pitchers.

This year we are making available a second special edition of the 2020 season database to accommodate draft league play. This database contains all the same information as the regular edition but will have the player stats pro-rated for a 162-game season.

You can choose your preferred edition when you place your order. If you would like a copy of both editions of the 2020 season database, you can contact us at dmb_info@imaginesports.com to request a free copy of the alternative edition by email.
