Classic to Deluxe Past Season Upgrade History

At Diamond Mind, we are committed to providing the most accurate baseball simulation experience for our users. As part of this commitment, we are working diligently to upgrade as many older Classic Past Season (CPS) databases to Deluxe Past Season (DPS) editions as possible. 

More than just an update to the original Classic Past Season database, these "deluxed" editions have been recreated from an empty file as a completely new database using new tools and all of the latest statistical data from the most up-to-date online sources. This process includes adding real-life transactions, game-by-game lineups, left/right splits stats, and complete fielding stats to allow you to enjoy a more immersive and realistic replay.

Currently, Deluxe Past Season editions are available for the following years: 1919-1920, 1932, 1944, 1946-1957 and the full range of years between 1959 and the present. Over time, more upgraded Deluxe Past Seasons will become available to fill in the gaps for seasons before 1959 and extend to seasons back to the 1920s.

Given that each updated season database demands extensive research, data entry, and testing, the process of upgrading all seasons will take a few years to complete. We encourage you to keep an eye on the Diamond Mind Baseball Forums for updates from DMBJim on upcoming upgraded seasons.
