Important News Regarding the APG2015 Databases

I have just posted a set of new AGP2015 database files for both volumes in V11 and V10 format that corrects the excessive strikeout issue in the original version. Everyone who made a purchase should receive an e-mail announcement along with a download link good for five (5) new downloads.

Diamond Mind is a computer simulation that's been around for more than 20 years, and its intricate engine is used by ESPN and other media to simulate seasons. It's considered the best simulator out there.

Its main concept: Players draft a team using past players and then try to beat other owners in a 12-team league in a simulated 162-game season. It's not as easy as sticking Mickey Mantle in center, Babe Ruth in right and putting Cy Young on the mound, either. You have a salary cap and can only afford a few superstars for your team, so you'll be filling out your roster with players you probably forgot about long ago. And that's part of the fun.

DMB Download/Installation Tips

Please review the below links for detailed information on downloading and installing your game/seasons. The process to download/install DMB V12 or DMB V11 is identical.

Downloading your purchase from the new DMB Shopify Web Store:

When you make a purchase from the Diamond Mind website, you are sent an email with the subject "Your Diamond Mind Baseball downloads are ready". This email should arrive within about 30 minutes. The links to download your files can be found in that email.

Once you have received your downloads email, you can either click the links or copy and paste the URLs into your browser to open the download page for each item.

From the download page, click the "Download Now" button. Depending on your browser settings, the browser should either start the download immediately or ask where you would like to save the file. If prompted, choose where to save your file on your computer. The usual location for files saved from the Internet is the Downloads folder.

To protect your investment and to avoid future replacement fees, it's important to maintain a reliable backup of all your Diamond Mind software. For example, by saving your original game and season installation files to a portable hard drive or a USB memory stick. Another option is to save your original game and season installation files to an online file storage service (for example, Dropbox or OneDrive), which typically offer free accounts with more than enough storage space for all your Diamond Mind files and more.
